Woodvale 2007 was a great show. We spent the week before watching the weather forecasts and it didn't look good with Sunday being the only day for ages which showed rain!!! Well Sunday rolled around and we woke up to bright sunshine and not a cloud in the sky.  Perfect!!!

We met up with my mum and dad in their 1959 TR3a and set off for Southport.  The car went well on the new Edelbrock carb setup however she does seem a little rich and has a "little" drink problem - average mpg was around 17 to 18!! Need to look into a calibration kit and try her a stage leaner...

Anyway we arrived at the show and I was invited to join the Red Rose TR group as a guest car on their stand. These guys are great and really made us feel welcome as ever. We only saw one other Cobra all day in the show and it was not one that I recognise. I think it was an AK in maroon (very nice too!!).

Not sure we will be invited back on the stand next year as every visitor to the stand seemed to make a bee-line to our Dax and I was simply wishing I got a pound for every photo taken. I would have made hundreds - not sure I ever realised what and crowd pleaser Cobras are...

Well the weather stayed great (a bit of cloud late in the day but no rain) and we had a brilliant day. The drive home was uneventful other than a nice Caterham that joined us on the motorway and exchanged a thumbs-up at each others cars...
